For me, the Health Triangle is based on magnesium, silicon, and vitamin D3. These three elements are complementary and play an essential role in human metabolism and maintaining vitality.
Magnesium: Universal Enzyme Cofactor
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions, produces energy via ATP, regulates calcium flow, and stabilizes cell membranes. It is essential for nerve and muscle function, as well as for impulse transmission and muscle contraction.
Silicon: Architect of Supportive Tissues
Silicon contributes to the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans, supporting bone strength and connective tissue integrity. It optimizes calcium and magnesium binding, aiding bone mineralization and joint health.
Vitamin D3: Mineral and Immune Regulator
Vitamin D3 controls intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, regulates parathyroid hormone secretion, and supports renal calcium reabsorption. It also has immune functions and promotes cell differentiation.
